How to finance your Master's degree

For foreign students :

The institutions offering financial support vary according to students' country of origin. Following is a list of the principal organizations that students can approach for financial assistance:

  • Scholarships from French embassies abroad:

Scholarships financed by the French government are allocated by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to support studies, internships, and language study programs in France. Whatever the student's country of residence, he or she should contact the "Service de cooperation et d'action culturelle" (Cultural Services) of the French embassy or consulate of their country of origin.   • Scholarships attributed within the framework of specific academic programs:

  • The "Excellence-Major" Program:

Eligibility is limited to foreign students (from any country) having a French baccalaureate degree and benefiting from an AEFE merit scholarship ("bourse d'Excellence"):

  • The Charcot Merit Scholarship Program for medical students:
